When should my child first see a dentist?

By the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing.

Is general anesthesia safe for my child?

When performed in a hospital by a qualified anesthesiologist after a full pre-operative assessment, it is very safe, and often safer than restraining a struggling child.

Why treat baby teeth if they fall out anyway?

Baby teeth hold the space for the permanent teeth, and infection or pain affects eating, sleeping, speech and the permanent tooth forming underneath.

Can I stay with my child during treatment?

Yes. Parents are welcome beside the chair, and for general anesthesia you stay until your child falls asleep and are there when they wake.

Do you treat children with special needs?

Yes. Appointments are built around what the child needs: a quiet room, a longer slot, a specific time of day or softer lighting.
